Master Magician and Illusionist Eddie Armbrister has an extensive background in magic. It all began when he
received a magic set from Santa when he was six years old. This sparked his interest and that interest never

subsided. Eddie remembers, “Like all kids, I wanted to be able to fly or to accomplish other impossible, super-
human feats. With the Art of Magic, I discovered that I could do just that, perform the impossible!”

Eddie has made a career out of performing the impossible! Now a
highly-sought-after motivational business speaker, strategic planning
and leadership consultant and Curriculum Coordinator and Assistant
Department Head for Marketing in the Haslam College of Business at
the University of Tennessee, Eddie started his first business at the
age of sixteen. He formed his entertainment company, World of
Wonder Productions while still in high school. While cultivating his
magical skills and performing part-time as a professional magician
during his high school and college years, Eddie further honed his craft
as an entertainer through active involvement as an actor and director
with various theatre companies.

Eddie earned his undergraduate degree in Marketing Management
from Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business and immediately put the degree to work as a full-time entertainer. For nearly a decade, he performed 150-200 shows per year for a variety of corporate clients and at tradeshows, festivals, fairs, resorts, banquet halls and comedy clubs. Eddie spent four summers entertaining in the Catskills of upstate New York, two seasons at Dollywood in Tennessee and then
became “Entertainer in Residence” at Mountain Lake Resort in Virginia where the hit movie “Dirty Dancing” was filmed. He has four television appearances to his credit including two regionally broadcast commercials and a documentary special filmed for national television in India.

Eddie cut back on his travel and performance schedule to around 50 shows per year to pursue two graduate degrees. He earned his Master of Business Administration and Juris Doctorate degrees at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where he continues to teach Global Marketing Strategy, Sales Force Management and Consumer Behavior today.

Always the entrepreneur, Eddie wrote a business plan for a children’s performing arts summer camp and rustic corporate training/conference center while in graduate school. Soon afterward, he founded Camp Curtain Call and Pine Hills Mountain Camp & Conference Center, both located in the
foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia in Carroll County on an old farm property he developed into a beautiful retreat/camp/conference center for both businesses. The Camp
Curtain Call program featured magic and illusion training as part of the curriculum and garnered regional and national media coverage for its outstanding program and facilities. After selling the successful summer camp,
Eddie is now the Owner & Proprietor of the World of Wonder Magic Shop and the Tricky Puzzler Puzzle Shop in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Even with his busy schedule, Eddie’s “World of Wonder Magic & Illusion Show” is in high demand and now features Sabrina Davidson, a very talented dancer, choreographer, and performer, co-starring as lead stage show illusion assistant. Whether it is close-up magic for small groups or dazzling stage production shows, World of Wonder Productions will provide high-impact,
energetic, mind-blowing magical entertainment for your special event!
